Construction Manager: Montrose VA Medical Center
Emerging Tech is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for onsite construction management at the Montrose VA Medical Center (2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY). You’ll oversee renovation, capital improvement, and infrastructure projects from design through closeout, in compliance with VA and federal requirements. Two-year contract with possibility of extension; anticipated start August 3, 2026.
What You’Ll Do
- Manage all phases of construction projects from planning through completion
- Own schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Monitor contractor performance and conduct site inspections for quality and safety
- Coordinate with VA leadership, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Minimize disruption to patient care and daily hospital operations
What We’Re Looking For
- U.S. citizenship required, with ability to pass a federal background investigation
- 8+ years of construction management experience, ideally in occupied healthcare facilities
- Strong knowledge of Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods
- Comfortable with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, SharePoint, or similar tools
- Full-time onsite at the Montrose VA Medical Center
Salary: $140,000–$170,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
